Weather – Sun, clouds

A mix of sun and cloud expected for the day with wind gusting up to 15 km/h and a high of 0 C. With the wind chill it will feel like -11 C this morning.

Increasing cloudiness this evening with snow or ice pellets beginning overnight with wind gusting to 50 km/h. The temperature will remain steady near 0 C.

A messy mix of wintry weather expected on Tuesday.

Locations: Prince Edward Island

Time span: early Tuesday morning until Wednesday morning.

Remarks: Snow and ice pellets will develop early Tuesday morning and is expected to change to rain later in the morning over eastern areas and in the afternoon over western areas. This could impact travel, especially during the commute Tuesday morning. Rain will persist until Wednesday morning. There is a risk of freezing rain during the changeover.
