A few words from the SaltWire Network weather desk
SaltWire Network’s chief meteorologist said it’s been a rough spring on the Island, with few sunny days in a row.
Well, according to Cindy Day, that’s about to change.
A slow-moving area of high pressure approaching from the west will bring a stretch of dry weather to the region, she said.
“The system is not clean – so we’ll see clouds now and again, but overall it looks nice.”
The wind is not going to be terribly strong, but it will be cool –coming in from the north and northwest all weekend.
The week will start off dry with no rain until very late Tuesday into Wednesday.
