SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — P.E.I.’s New Democratic Party is having its annual general meeting on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The meeting will be held at the Veteran’s Convention Centre in Summerside’s Credit Union Place.
Party president Leah-Jane Hayward said there will be a new group of Islanders vying for positions on the party’s provincial council.
Only members in good standing will have voting rights relative to the business of the day. Memberships can be renewed online at ndppei.ca or during registration, which takes place at 9 a.m. and noon.
The fee to register is $20 or $5 for those on low income. A pizza lunch is included in the fee.
