CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A P.E.I. man who breached his probation by failing to keep in contact with his probation officer was sentenced recently to 30 days in jail.

Kyle Clinton Crane, 22, appeared before Chief Judge Nancy Orr in provincial court in Charlottetown where he entered a guilty plea.

The court heard Crane’s probation officer made several unsuccessful attempts to contact Crane and make an appointment to meet.

Along with the jail time, Crane was also put on probation for a further 18 months.
