ALBANY, P.E.I. — An Albany man has been sentenced to serve six years in prison for drug trafficking and firearms offences.
Dustin Noonan was sentenced in Prince Edward Island Supreme Court on Friday, July 10.
Noonan has been in custody since he was arrested in April 2019.
These charges stem from a search warrant executed by the Prince District JFO drug unit on April 4, 2019 in Albany, P.E.I.
During the execution of this warrant, police seized:
- a loaded sawed off rifle,
- a loaded shotgun,
- three hand pellet guns,
- two long pellet guns,
- a large amount of knives,
- a machete,
- brass knuckles,
- two batons,
- bear spray,
- about 3.5 pounds of methamphetamine pills,
- about two ounces of crystal methamphetamine,
- a small amount of cocaine and
- digital scales.
The co-accused in this investigation had already pleaded guilty to firearms offences and received 18 months in custody.
