P.E.I. man gets jail time for weapons, theft charges

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 31-year-old P.E.I. man has pleaded guilty to one count of carrying a concealed weapon, a knife, one count of possession of a firearm, a rifle, without being a holder of a license, and one count of possession of stolen property, a truck.

Anthony James Doyle, of no fixed address, was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail and is prohibited from owning weapons for 10 years.

The charges are from Oct. 27 in Summerside.
