No one was seriously injured when a P.E.I. correctional services vehicle transporting a prisoner in Nova Scotia was involved in a collision recently.
A Justice Department spokeswoman confirmed a correctional services vehicle was rear ended near Truro last month as it was transporting a prisoner.
The spokeswoman said there were no injuries to the driver or any passengers in the vehicle.
She also said there was minimal damage to the vehicle.
The spokeswoman said everyone in the correctional services vehicle was taken to hospital and released.
Another vehicle was sent to get the prisoner to P.E.I., the spokeswoman said.
