P.E.I. gas prices sink before Halloween

Regular, unleaded gasoline prices now range from 95.0 to 96.1 cpl at self-serve outlets in P.E.I. after the Oct. 30 pricing adjustment.

For the second week in a row, the price of gas has dropped in the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission's weekly adjustment.

Gas prices have decreased by two cents per litre (cpl). Regular, unleaded gasoline prices now range from 95.0 to 96.1 cpl at self-serve outlets.

Diesel prices have also dropped, by one cent, and now range from 99.9 to 101.1 cpl.

The price of furnace oil has decreased by 1.5 cpl making the maximum price for furnace oil is 70.1 cpl.

The commission’s next scheduled price adjustment is Nov. 6.
