Gas, furnace and stove oil, diesel, and propane prices were approved by The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission to decrease early Saturday morning.
- Gas will decrease by 1.0 cents per litre (cpl)
- Furnace and stove oil prices will decrease by 2.4 cpl.
- Diesel prices will decrease by 1.4 cpl.
- Propane prices will decrease by 1.0.
There will be no change for Superior Propane for Kenmac Energy Inc. or for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing.
Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 104.2 cpl to 105.3 cpl.
Pump prices for diesel will now range from 126.6 cpl to 127.8 cpl. Maximum before tax propane prices will now range from 80.3 cpl to 80.5 cpl.
The maximum price for furnace oil will now amount to 89.4 cpl, plus tax.
The Commission’s next scheduled price adjustment will be on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018.
