P.E.I. confirms three COVID-19 cases, Summerside residents with symptoms urged to get tested

A cluster of three new COVID-19 cases has been confirmed for P.E.I. on Feb. 25.

As well, Islanders in Summerside with COVID-19 symptoms are urged to get tested tomorrow, Feb. 26, and self-isolate until the results come back, according to the chief public health office's late Thursday media release. Increased testing capacity will be available at Slemon Park.

The individuals are three males in their 20s. An investigation into the cases is in the preliminary stages and contact tracing is underway - a public update will be provided tomorrow.
