SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Summerside firefighters responded to 22 calls during the month of October.
The numbers were included in the November municipal council briefing notes.
Of those calls, two were for medical emergencies, 14 were for alarm panel calls, three were structure fires and three calls were cancelled.
Summerside Police Services also had a busy October, responding to 592.
Those calls included 23 traffic collisions, 30 assaults/threats uttered, 30 thefts, nine impaired driving offences, 162 highway traffic charges (including 40 speeding tickets), nine break-ins and seven drug enforcement charges.
