CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A P.E.I. woman who stole lingerie from an adult store in Charlottetown was recently given a suspended sentence.

Christa Dawn Gregory, 38, appeared before Judge John Douglas in provincial court in Charlottetown where she pleaded guilty to the theft.

The court heard that on March 29, Gregory went to Wild Impulse where she took five pieces of lingerie, with a total value of $229.29, and left without paying.

Store staff stopped her, but the items weren’t resalable.

With the suspended sentence, Gregory will be on probation for nine months, during which time she is banned from Wild Impulse.

Gregory must also pay $229.29 in restitution.
