ALBERTON, P.E.I. — West Prince is in line to get a new physician.

Paul Young, administrator of Community Hospitals West, confirmed Friday that a physician from Nova Scotia, currently practicing in Northern Ontario, will be joining the West Prince health care team next August and will be based out of Western Hospital.

Dr. Kory Jollymore will bring a new service to the region as a combined general practitioner and oncologist.

Dr. Jollymore’s arrival will bring the number of fulltime physicians in West Prince to nine, still three positions short of full complement.
