SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Developers looking to build in Summerside have some new street name options.
City council’s ad hoc street name list task force has turned in a list of 67 pre-approved names that can be pulled for use whenever needed. Developers can still request specific names not on the list, but they have to be approved by council before they can be used.
Council struck the task force in March because the city’s list of approved street names had dwindled to just a handful.
The list includes various categories and sub-themes.
