The Mount Herbert man who died Saturday from a head injury has been identified.
Tyler Richards, 29, died at the Moncton City Hospital.
Police found Richards in his home on Aug. 3 with a serious head injury. He died after spending a week in hospital in Moncton.
The P.E.I. RCMP’s major crime unit is leading the investigation.
“We are still at the point where we cannot say if it is a crime or an accident,’’ says Sgt. Leanne Butler of Queens District RCMP.
Queens District RCMP, the major crime unit, and the New Brunswick coroner’s office are continuing the joint investigation into the cause of the man’s injury and subsequent death.
The New Brunswick coroner’s office is involved because the man died in Moncton.
