CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Kyle Clifford Palmer had quite a shopping list for goods he hoped to pinch.
The 33-year-old man pleaded guilty Monday to a string of thefts that saw him try to make off with items ranging from baby diapers to cans of frozen lobster.
Palmer did not hit just one store, either.
He tried to snatch goods from a number of businesses in Charlottetown, including Atlantic Superstore, Canadian Tire, Sears and Toys ‘R’ Us.
Among the pilfered products were a pot and pan set, a TV set, drill sets, razor blades, a vacuum, pajamas, more than $400 in items from the toy store, a craft kit and four packs of underwear.
Many items were recovered in resalable condition, but several others were not in condition to be placed back on the shelf. He will have to pay for those.
Palmer will be sentenced March 28. He has been remanded into custody.
