KENSINGTON, P.E.I. — Kensington council was presented with a pitch from 55+ Games officials to host next year’s summer games.
A two-year contract was also an option for discussion, which could mean Kensington hosting both 2020 and 2021 games.
Council discussed the matter further after the presentation, but ultimately decided to vote in the next meeting on Sept. 9.
The 55+ Games is a bi-annual event where seniors 55 years and older compete in sports of the appropriate season.
