Highway off-ramp at Albany Y closed due to collision Sept. 19

The RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating after a man was killed in a single-vehicle accident early Monday morning in Langley.

ALBANY, P.E.I. — Police have closed a highway off-ramp in Albany on Thursday  due to a motor vehicle collision.  

RCMP in Prince County said at 6:30 p.m. that the off ramp from Route 1A is closed while emergency crews work at the scene. The interchange of Route 1A and the Trans-Canada Highway is commonly known as the Albany Y. 

Police said the off-ramp would be closed for several hours. 

More details to come as they are made available by the RCMP.
