HUNTER RIVER, P.E.I. — A New Brunswick man is dead after a collision on Route 2 near Hunter River Thursday evening.

Around 5 p.m. on Aug. 8, RCMP, the New Glasgow Fire Department and Island EMS responded to the incident between the victim’s motorcycle and a pickup truck

The 52-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

RCMP say their thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
