SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 39-year-old Grand River man was sentenced for impaired driving in provincial court recently.
Joseph Peter Chaisson pleaded guilty to one count of operating a motor vehicle while also having a blood alcohol level above the legal limit.
The charge is from Aug. 20 in Summerside.
Chaisson was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail, which he received permission to do intermediately and must also serve probation until his time is served.
Chaisson must also pay a fine of $1,500 and a $450 victim surcharge and is prohibited from driving for 18 months.
