SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A food vendor at the Summerside Farmers’ Market was recently hit with a warning letter by provincial health inspectors.

Ryan Neale, manager of environmental health for the chief public health office, said Asian Sensations was handed a warning letter following an inspection on Sept. 28.

Neale said the vendor was cited for failing to provide accurate thermometers in all refrigeration units and failing to maintain records verifying dishwasher sanitizer strength tests.

Neale said health inspectors conducted a follow-up inspection on Oct. 5 and conditions were deemed satisfactory.
