Federal Green party to announce leadership race rules in Charlottetown

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Green Party of Canada will announce the rules of its upcoming leadership race during a news conference in Charlottetown on Monday.

Interim leader Jo-Ann Roberts will be in Charlottetown to make the announcement after former leader Elizabeth May stepped down in November.

The party previously announced it planned to hold a leadership convention in Charlottetown in October 2020.

P.E.I. Green party MLAs, including leader Peter Bevan-Baker, along with federal candidates will join Roberts at the Delta Prince Edward at 10:30 a.m. for the announcement.
