CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Some Islanders will be able to get free help with energy efficiency in their homes and apartments.

Through efficiencyP.E.I.’s winter warming program, an efficiencyP.E.I. tradesperson will help with air sealing measures and free energy-efficient items and services such as installing a programmable thermostat.

This program is available to all Islanders, including renters, with a total household income of $50,000 or less.

Service includes caulking, sealing of electrical fixtures, installation of low-flow showerhead, a voucher for a free heating system cleaning, installation of LED light bulbs and other electricity savings measures.
