SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 21-year-old Ellerslie resident has pleaded guilty to one count of contravening his fishing license by having on board a vessel one or more gill nets with a mesh size less than 66.7 mm.
Parker Culleton was fined $2,000.
He must also forfeit six gill nets that were seized by Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
The charge is from Aug. 26 and 27 near Miminegash.
