SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A Summerside man was in provincial court recently for driving under the influence of drugs.

Jamie Ernest McKillop, 28, pleaded guilty to having methamphetamine in his blood within two hours of operating a vehicle on Feb. 5.

McKillop was sentenced to 10 days in jail, fined $1,000 and must pay $300 in victim surcharges. McKillop is also prohibited from driving for two years.
