NAIL POND, P.E.I. - A Nail Pond man has been charged with drug trafficking after police executed a search warrant Dec. 19.
The Prince District Joint Forces Operations Drug Unit used a police dog to find more than $33,000 in cash, ammunition, methamphetamine tablets, oxycodone tablets and more than two ounces of cocaine.
The 44-year-old man was arrested and will face drug trafficking charges.
The Joint Forces Operation is comprised of members of the RCMP and Summerside and Kensington police forces. They were assisted by the P.E.I. RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime section.
