Drivers expect heavy truck traffic in Summerside areas

Trucks will be unloading ships at the Summerside Port's Marine Terminal until completion

SUMMERSIDE – The travelling public can expect heavier than normal truck traffic due to the unloading of a ship at Summerside Port’s Marine Terminal.

The City of Summerside issued a statement Monday morning stating the operation will begin around 7 a.m. and run until 9 p.m. until completion around March 14, weather permitting. There will be heavier traffic along Heather Moyse Drive, Water Street East and Read Drive areas of the city.
