A motorcycle crash on Pitts Memorial Drive caused a few anxious moments early Saturday morning.
When the St. John’s Regional fire department’s personnel arrived on scene, they found a motorcycle lying in the median between the Mount Pearl exits and the Trans-Canada Highway.
Firefighters began a search of each area around the crash but were unable to locate the driver.
It appears the motorcycle may have struck a pavement edge where the scratch-and-patch pavement repair operations are ongoing.
The RNC is investigating.
