SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Jason Ernest Fitzpatrick, 32, of Degros Marsh, has pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to steal merchandise valued at less than $5,000 from the P.E.I. Liquor Control Commission.

The charge is from Sept. 14, 2019, in Summerside.

Fitzpatrick was sentenced to serve three days in jail and must pay a victim surcharge of $100.
