Darnley man pleads guilty to assault

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – A 35-year-old Darnley man has pleaded guilty to one count of assault against a female victim.

Frank Ron Covello was sentenced to serve three days in jail, 12 months of probation and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.

The charge is dated from being between Aug. 1 and Oct. 10 in Darnley.
