SUMMERSIDE – Matthew Leo Dunbar, 33, of Alma, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while disqualified from doing so, mischief for damaging a basketball net that was not his and breaching his probation order by contacting people he had been ordered not to.
He appeared in provincial court Summerside to answer to charges from July 21 in Alberton.
Dunbar was sentenced to serve 135 days in jail and received credit for five days served since his arrest. He must also serve 24 months of probation, is prohibited from driving for three years and must pay $300 in victim surcharges.
