CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Victoria Park pool and splash pad opened for the season on Saturday and will operate seven days a week from 11 a.m.-7:45 p.m.

The Simmons Pool also opened on Saturday and will operate from 1-7:45 p.m., seven days a week. At this time there will be no lane swims taking place. Admission to both pools is free.

Both pools will close at 5 p.m. on Canada Day.

Due to the policies and procedures set by the CPHO, both pools will operate on a limited capacity and swims will be split into one-hour time frames. There will be no change rooms available for use at either pool, so swimmers are required to shower at home first and should come to the pool with their bathing suit on.
