SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — The City of Summerside staff has wrapped up its construction season for 2019 and is already planning next year’s projects.

The city completed the earthwork and installed electrical hook-ups and water, sewer and storm mains at the new Eco Park. Gravel and paving will begin in the spring.

The technical services office issued nine building permits in November. Four were for semi-detached houses and the rest were for renovations and accessory buildings.

Council received four tenders for renovations on 94 Ottawa Street. The winner was WM&M (1993) Ltd. with an estimate of $1,299,000 (excluding taxes).
