Charlottetown man facing charge of sexual assault at gym locker room

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – On Monday, May 15 Charlottetown Police was called to investigate a sexual assault reported to have occurred in a locker room.

The incident is alleged to have involved a young victim. It was reported from a private fitness facility that police will not identify.

As a result of the investigation, a 56-year-old Charlottetown man has been arrested and released with conditions, said a report issued Friday.

The man will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
