CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A P.E.I. woman facing a third infanticide charge has once again had her case adjourned.
Shannon Dawn Rayner is now scheduled to appear in provincial court July 10 for election and possible sentencing.
Rayner pleaded guilty in April to two counts of infanticide dating back to 2014 and 2016. She may be sentenced on those crimes on July 10.
Rayner, 40, faces one count of infanticide and one count of concealing the body of a child after Charlottetown police found the skeletal remains of an infant in a shed in the city in early May.
Rayner remains in custody by consent.
