The Cavendish Beach Music Festival may have been cancelled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but organizers have come up with a new way to entertain with the Cavendish Beach Drive-In Concert Series.

The drive-in series will be P.E.I.’s first and only live drive-in music event.

The event will take place at the Cavendish Beach Festival and Events Centre where attendees will enjoy live performances from a full lineup of local artists live on stage from the comfort and safety of their cars.

The series will take place over four weekends in July and August.

The series kicks off July 11 with a nod to Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell weekend with a talented lineup of country and folk artists.

Multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Irish Mythen will headline the night, joined by Ben Chase, Cory Gallant and The Red Dirt Posse, Brooke MacArthur and Inn Echo.
