ROSEBANK

No one was injured in a Wednesday evening collision between a car and a farm tractor.

The collision occurred shortly after 5 p.m. along Highway 2 in Rosebank, near the Piusville Road turn-off.

Corporal Al Vincent with Prince District RCMP said visibility was reduced at the time due to strong winds whipping up the snow.

Vincent said the car rear-ended the tractor’s attached snow blower He said the driver saw the cab-over tractor before impact, but, because of the difference in the speed of the two vehicles, was unable to avoid a collision. No charges are anticipated.

Neither the tractor nor the blower sustained damage but the car had to be towed from the scene.
