Brodie McCarthy's twin brother accepts his Montague Regional High graduation certificate

Justin McCarthy accepts his twin brother's Montague Regional High School graduation certificate from principal Seana Evans-Renuad to a standing ovation at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre on Thursday. Justin's brother Brodie McCarthy died in Summerside on May 13 following a rugby injury two days earlier. Justin played on the same team and accompanied Brodie to the Prince County Hospital before Brodie was transferred to Moncton for a surgery that was ultimately unsuccessful.

MONTAGUE, P.E.I. - Justin McCarthy accepted his twin brother's Montague Regional High School graduation certificate from principal Seana Evans-Renaud to a standing ovation at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre on Thursday.

Justin's brother Brodie McCarthy died on May 13 in Moncton following a rugby injury two days earlier during a game in Summerside.

Justin played on the same team as his brother and accompanied Brodie to the Prince County Hospital before Brodie was transferred to Moncton for a surgery that was ultimately unsuccessful.
