BORDEN-CARLETON, P.E.I. — Residents in the town of Borden-Carleton used 7,383 cubic meters of water in April, council heard at the recent May meeting.
New water and sewer lines for Carleton Street are installed and ready to be turned on, said Alan Nisbet in the water and sewer report for the town.
The report also said Nisbet has installed a two-inch line at the water building. This is to accommodate the occasional requests from contractors who need to fill water trucks. In the past they have used a fire hydrant, “which has never sat well with Alan,” said Coun. Larry Allen.
