SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 57-year-old Bedeque man has pleaded guilty to one count of assaulting someone with a weapon - a hatchet.

Jim Warren Anger was sentenced to serve 10 days in jail, which he received permission to do intermittently, and must serve 12 months of probation.

The charge is from Jan. 13 in Bedeque.
