Ebraheim Barho, who was severely burned in the Spryfield house fire that killed all seven of his children last month, underwent his third skin grafting surgery on Monday.

“While he still has a long recovery ahead of him, we are cautiously optimistic as we see small improvements in his condition,” HEART Society wrote in a Facebook post.

The community group thanked everyone for their continued thoughts and prayers for Ebraheim and his wife Kawthar. The parents lost their seven children in a house fire on Feb. 19.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
