Arsenault given suspended sentence

SUMMERSIDE – Joseph Tilmon Arsenault, 66, of Summerside has pleaded guilty to one count of failing to comply with a court undertaking.

The charge is from Aug. 17 in Summerside.

Arsenault received a suspended sentence, must serve 12 months of probation and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.

MacKintosh pleads guilty

SUMMERSIDE – Skylra Beth MacKintosh, 25, of Summerside has pleaded guilty to one count of assault.

The charge is from Aug. 1 in Summerside.

MacKintosh received a suspended sentence, must serve 12 months of probation and pay a $100 victim surcharge.

Carr sentenced

SUMMERSIDE – Darcy Dwayne Carr, 42, of Summerside has pleaded guilty to one count of breaching a probation order.

The charge is from Aug. 24 in Summerside.

Carr was sentenced to serve five days in jail, which he received permission to do intermittently, and must remain on probation until his time is served. He must also pay a $100 victim surcharge.

Arsenault sentenced for impaired driving

SUMMERSIDE – Claude Roger Arsenault, 32, of St. Raphael, has pleaded guilty to having a blood alcohol level above the legal limit while operating a motor vehicle.

The charge is from Feb. 21 in Kensington.

Arsenault was sentenced to serve 15 days in jail, which he received permission to do intermittently, and must remain on probation until his time is served. He is also prohibited from driving for 18 months and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.

Mayhew pleads guilty

SUMMERSIDE – Samantha Josephine Mayhew, 30, of Summerside has pleaded guilty to breaching probation order by having contact with someone she had been ordered not to.  

The charge is from Aug. 17 in Summerside.

Mayhew was sentenced to serve seven days in jail, which she received permission to do intermittently, must serve 12 months of probation and must pay $100 in victim surcharges.

Summerside woman sentenced

SUMMERSIDE – Stephanie Vannessa Mae Perry, 28, of Summerside, has pleaded guilty to one count of theft of items valued less than $5,000.

The charge is from Aug. 29 in Summerside.

Perry was given a suspended sentence and must serve 12 months of probation and pay a $100 victim surcharge.

McKenna sentenced

SUMMERSIDE – Crista Kaye McKenna, 40, has pleaded guilty to one count of failing to attend court as required, one count of breaching her probation and one count of misleading a police officer’s investigation.

The charges of failing to attend court and misleading a police officer are from August and September, but the charge of breaching her probation is from Oct. 27, 2009, in Charlottetown.

McKenna was sentenced to serve seven days in jail, which she received permission to do intermittently, and must serve an additional 12 months.

Bulger pleads guilty

SUMMERSIDE – Jacob Lee Anderson Bulger, 19, of Charlottetown has pleaded guilty multiple charges against him.

The charges include: one count of possession of stolen property, a license plate, of a value not exceeding $5,000; stealing gas from the Hunter River Circle K Convenience, of a value not exceeding $5,000; stealing from the Summerside Liquor Store, of a value not exceeding $5,000; stealing from Christmas Discounters, of a value not exceeding $5,000; breaking and entering a workshop on Eustane Street in Summerside. 

All of the charges are from July and August.

Bulger was sentenced to serve 78 days in jail, was given credit for the equivalent of 45 days he’s already spent in custody, must serve two years of probation and must pay $500 in victim surcharges.
