Emergency system test scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 28

Islanders can expect to hear a test of the emergency alert system at 1:55 p.m. on Nov. 28. 

Alert Ready has scheduled a Public Awareness Test that will be distributed on TV, radio and compatible wireless devices. Not every cell phone will sound with the alarm.
