Logan Raymond Kenneth MacAusland appeared before Judge John Douglas in provincial court in Charlottetown Thursday on several charges, including second-degree murder.

Defence lawyer Thane MacEachern told the court he hadn’t received the disclosure of evidence yet and expected it would take time to go through.

MacAusland is charged with the alleged murder of Cody Robert MacLean in Charlottetown on Feb. 5.

He is also facing other charges that include assaulting a police officer.

MacAusland will be back before Douglas on March 14.

He is also scheduled to appear before Chief Judge Nancy Orr in provincial court later this month on several other charges.
