Three people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle rear-end crash on Peacekeepers Way at the Fowler’s Road overpass in Conception Bay South.
The collision happened just before 6 p.m. in the westbound lane just after the exit to Fowler’s Road and left both vehicles with extensive damage.
Two people from one vehicle and one person from the second one were placed aboard ambulances, but none of the injuries was thought to be serious.
Westbound traffic was forced to detour up to, and across, Fowler’s Road to get past the collision scene.
The RNC is investigating the incident.
