Mounties issue warrant for man wanted for Cole Harbour assault

Police are asking the public to help find an Upper Sackville man wanted on province-wide warrant for a Cole Harbour assault.

According to an RCMP news release, Ryan James Jessop, 33, faces multiple charges after the Sept. 9 incident.

Jessop has been charged with assault causing bodily harm, choking to overcome, break and enter, mischief, three counts of breach of probation and two counts of breach of a court order.

An RCMP spokeswoman could not provide any more details of the charges on Wednesday. 

Jessop is described as white, 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, the release said. He has dark brown hair and green eyes. 

“Police have made several attempts to locate Jessop, however are requesting assistance from the public,” the release said.  

“Members of the public are asked to not approach Jessop if he is located, and call police.”
