Cash, jewelry, electronics stolen in Bedford break-in

BEDFORD, N.S. —

Thieves got away with cash, jewelry, big screen televisions and electronic equipment in a weekend break-in at a home in Bedford.

According to a Halifax Regional Police news release, the report of a break and enter at a Silver Terrace residence came in at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, after the crime had happened sometime overnight.

“The suspect(s) stole a safe containing a quantity of cash, documents and other valuables; jewelry including a number of high-end watches; several big screen televisions and electronic equipment,” the release said.
