There were no injuries after a car left the road to Cape Spear and crashed up over a guardrail.
The incident happened just before midnight Saturday night about a kilometre east of Blackhead when the car apparently hit a patch of ice in the area.
There didn’t appear to be any major damage to the vehicle but a tow-truck was called in to remove the car from the railing.
The RNC was on scene investigating the incident.
