CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Advance polling station for Wards 1 and 2 opened on Saturday at St. Peter’s Church Hall in Charlottetown and officials from the polling stations said there was a steady flow of voters throughout the day after the doors opened.

Saturday was the first day for advance voting for the upcoming municipal elections in P.E.I.

The elections are on Monday, Nov. 5.

Advance polls are at the following locations. All polls are open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Charlottetown: Wards 1 and 2, Monday and Friday, St. Peters Church Hall; Wards 3 and 4, Monday and Friday, Charlottetown Mall; Wards 5 and 6, Monday and Friday, Sherwood Rec Hall; Wards 7 and 8, Monday and Friday, West Royalty Community Centre; Wards 9 and 10, Monday and Friday, Malcolm Darrach Civic Centre.

Summerside: Wards 1-8, Monday and Friday, Credit Union Place.

Stratford: Wards 1-3, Monday and Friday, Stratford Town Centre.

Cornwall: Open, Monday and Friday, APM Centre.
