CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The P.E.I. Pops is set to provide another exciting afternoon of hits from stage and screen this weekend.
The 30-piece orchestra, under the direction of Leo Marchildon, will be in conert on Sunday Jan. 13, 3 p.m., in St. Paul’s Church, 101 Prince St., Charlottetown.
Admission is by free-will offering.
Music will be performed from “Guys and Dolls”, “La La Land”, “Dances with Wolves” and “Jurassic Park”. Also on the bill is Richard Rodgers’ rousing score to “Victory at Sea”, a 1952 documentary series based on naval involvement during the Second World War.
